Organised within the Interreg IPA South Adriatic SKILLS project, this unique international programme offers students and young professionals an opportunity to experience the Blue Economy directly through practical learning, field visits, smart maritime technologies, and international networking.

What Makes This Summer School Different?

Participants will not only attend lectures — they will learn directly from real maritime environments in the Bay of Kotor.

The programme includes:
field visits to Porto Montenegro and the Port of Kotor
Wärtsilä navigation simulator demonstrations
practical laboratory activities
interaction with experts from maritime, tourism, and marine biology sectors
international networking with participants from Montenegro, Albania, and Italy

The curriculum covers seven modern thematic areas:

  • Sustainable Nautical and Cruise Tourism

  • Contemporary Marina and Cruise Port Management

  • Safety and Security

  • Infrastructure Planning

  • Navigational Parameters

  • Smart and Digital Marinas

  • Green Marinas and Cruise Ports

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to:

  • university students,

  • young professionals,

  • researchers,

  • maritime and tourism employees,

  • Blue Economy stakeholders.

Selected participants will receive:

💶 participation free of charge

Limited Places Available

Only 20 participants will be selected for the 2026 edition of the programme, with regional representation from:

  • Montenegro

  • Albania

  • Puglia (Italy)

  • Molise (Italy)
