On Saturday, 4 July 2026, participants of the International Summer School “Sustainable Development of the Yachting and Cruise Industry” were introduced to the Adriatic Blue Growth Cluster at the Blue Economy Training Centre of the Institute of Marine Biology, University of Montenegro.

The presentation was delivered by Dr Miško Rađenović and focused on the role of the Adriatic Blue Growth Cluster in supporting cooperation, competitiveness and skills development in the Blue Economy sectors.

The Adriatic Blue Growth Cluster enhances the capacity and competitiveness of companies and professionals operating in Blue Economy sectors through mutual learning, collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Building on the foundation of an already active cluster in Montenegro, established under the Smart Adria initiative, the Adriatic Blue Growth Cluster is evolving into a dynamic space where businesses, training institutions and stakeholders across the value chain can connect, exchange experiences and adopt shared learning practices.

By fostering cooperation across borders and sectors, the Cluster serves as a catalyst for innovation, skills development and sustainable blue growth in the South Adriatic region.

Participants of the Summer School were invited to join the Adriatic Blue Growth Cluster and continue their engagement beyond the training programme through networking, cooperation and future Blue Economy initiatives.
